The Role

Glenleigh Park Primary Academy is looking to appoint an Administration & Finance Assistant to join our dedicated and motivated staff team.

Glenleigh Park Primary Academy and Nursery is part of Aurora Academies Trust, an organisation that is committed to nurturing and developing talent. Our seven schools spanning nursery, primary and secondary provision are all judged to be good or better by Ofsted.

Working hours:

Permanent - 30 hours per week, term-time only plus 1 week worked during school holidays to be mutually agreed (40 weeks worked per year, 46 weeks weeks paid per year (including annual leave)).

Pay:

ESSS 9-10

FTE £24,404 - £24,790

Actual salary: £17,455 - £17,731

The salary shown reflects an interim 2024/2025 pay award, pending completion of the negotiations between the National Employers and the Trade Unions. The difference between this and what is agreed as the final pay award will be paid as a lump sum back pay, when announced by the government and the Trade Unions.

We are looking for individuals who: 

  •          Have effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  •          Can quickly build effective working relationships with all stakeholders 
  •          Are able to use initiative, be decisive and communicate professionally with confidence
  •          Are computer literate, with strong capability in email, MS Office and management information systems
  •          Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  •          Have experience of working in a fast paced office environment
